Pumpkin Carving Contest

Categories:

• Best Jack-o-Lantern Face
• Most Detailed Carving
• Most Creative Carving
• Best Group Carving (3+ pumpkins)
• Best Overall Pumpkin

Rules:

1. Pumpkin Carving Contest will utilize a photo submission and online voting process.
2. Any resident of Horse Creek Ridge is welcome to enter the contest.
3. Pumpkin photo submission will be open from October 28 through November 2.
4. Residents may enter more than one category; however, cannot win multiple prizes for the same pumpkin.
5. Photos will be posted in the Members Only Area of this website for HCR Residents to view and vote.
6. Photo viewing and voting will be open to HCR Residents from Thursday, November 5 through Sunday, November 8.
7. Votes will be calculated and the one costume in the community that receives the most votes out of any category will be awarded "Best Overall Pumpkin."
   
8. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, November 11.
9. Prizes will be distributed to the winners before the end of November.

Prizes:

Prizes will be awarded as follows:

• Votes will be calculated and the one pumpkin in the community that receives the most votes out of any category will be awarded "Best Overall Pumpkin" and given a $100 gift card

• Individual category winners will then be selected based on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd most votes from the remaining contestants 

• Category Winners: 1st Place: $75 gift card; 2nd Place: $50 gift card; 3rd Place: $25 gift card
• Gift cards will be for a local Fallbrook restaurant or store

How to Enter:

Contest entry will be open from October 28 through November 2.
